Dear Sir / Madam:

My name is XXX and I am writing with regard to a persistent noise nuisance in the local area that is preventing me, and my neighbours, from living peacefully and enjoying our property.

The group of people in question are a fundamentalist religious group who, in the course of their 'worship', cause an untenable amount of noise each and every day. It is affecting my health and the health of those around me.

The noise is so loud that it is audible for a clear half-mile radius and I am not the only person in our area to express discontent about this issue.

Please could you investigate this anti-social behaviour with urgency. I respectfully remind you that the same persistent anti-social behaviour would not be accepted of the householders and other residents of this area and that I would like the same rules that apply to us to apply to the persons causing the noise. I further respectfully suggest that if they fail to curtail this repetitive aural assault then I will have no option but to pursue the application of an Anti-Social Behaviour Order (ASBO) to the offenders through the courts.
