This is whyI stopped going to my local pool. (Well, that and the fact that they charge you a $400 initiation fee.) I'd get there and it would be full of preteen kids screaming "Marco!" "Polo!" and splashing each other and throwing soggy things at each other, and parents ignoring them as they got radiation burns. For ten minutes an hour the kids would be kicked out for Adult Swim, but often that meant that they stood around and gossiped and no one could swim through.
More than once I was tempted to drag over an extension cord and throw it in.
