What this guy has is 2 women in his life, you and his adult daughter. You should not have to compete in this competition, and he should see through his little angel's remarks.

If you get back together, which is not a recomendation by the way, then you should ignore the little bitch as much as possible. If it helps her grow up a little, all the better. Your relationship with her cannot be as an equal, if you have a few beers with her then shag her dad, how would you feel? She is either confused or jealous, both of which mean that she has to react badly towards you.
