And am an absolute lightweight, so can easily get drunk for that much. But I don't think even I can do it for £4.
If it was a party where more people liked me, I'd turn on the legs and get drinks bought for me.

I drank wine last night.
A bottle of wine is only two pint glasses.
It's very easy to neck a pint glass of anything.

I take up this challenge, and will try my hardest to get drunk for £4.

*shakes head slowly*
It's hardly an essential, is it?

If you ignore the plastic bottle.
My mate went to France a few weeks back and got me a bottle of wine for 61p.
I've not tried it yet.

Because I'm a poor student, so provided I drink something very nice very fast beforehand, I probably wouldn't care.

I love vodka. nice and shit. drank a litre and a half of vladivar once.

That's very impressive. I prefer So-co though. And also vermouth, but I don't know what the hell it is.

Compared to what I used to drink.
Pavlov's where it's at.
It had a picture of a guy on a tractor on the label.

"This stuff lies on the boundary of low grade vodka/high grade solvent - and probably on the wrong side. I cannot emphasise enough how much this should not be ingested sans modification."

these days I only tend to drink high class vodka, because I can afford it and don't drink it by the pint.
many happy events sitting with a pint of vodka gradually topping it up with OJ or similar as I drank it down.

thing a few years back and it didn't seem to make an appreciable difference.
the thing, the filters for the Brita are about £3-£4, which are unusable after you have filtered the voodoo, so why not just buy a half decent bottle of vodka to begin with?
you can get usually get the flavoured Absolut for about £11 or so when it is on offer, and its loveliness is well worth the spend...keep it in your freezer and drink neat shots of it with very dark chocolate 705 cocoa plus, or better still, the 99% cocoa Lindt stuff....it is extremely delicious and the mixture tastes like a very expensive liqueur.
either that, buy tesco's own make 'dry cider' for 50p a can it's a lovely, cheap, credit crunch cargo!

Absolut in particular.
for a medium priced bottle Boru is what you want. Irish vodka FTW!
good to have some proper opinion on the water filter thing though

the smirnoff flovoured stuff is pure wank, but the absolut is lovely, subtle and smooth... any flavour, except chilli, will suffice.
if i cant get that i usually head for the Zubrowka, thats the green coloured 'bison vodka' - www.thedrinkshop.com/products/nlpdetail.php?prodid=1183
it is superb with apple juice, preferably freshly juiced stuff, if you are feeling really posh. lovely, unique taste.

why not spend the day doing a porn shoot? I hear it pays quite well.
Edit - Sorry, I now realise it's not actually your birthday party.
