And I'm glad to hear it. But -
obviously you are an exceptional couple.
The only couple I have known with, strangely enough, the same age difference had reached a stage where she was taking 'evening classes' three times a week which often meant she would stay over at a fellow students house. And no-one bothered asking what she was studying.
Which worked for them. And as it didn't concern anyone else why not.
(His children from first marriage were in their late twenties).

I cannot add to that sketch without the implication that what later happened to them might well affect you.
It doesn't change the opinion in my post - don't go where sadness waits.
