On the one hand....
I'm STILL feeling awful from last night despite not actually getting that drunk (fucking light-weight)..

But on the other I'm getting a chinese for dinner tonight. Not sure what I'll go for. Any suggestions? So while my mates are all in the pub getting steaming, I think I'm going to stay in with the chinese, wank myself retarded and then watch the Silence of the Lambs..

How's your Saturday report?

Oh yes and by the way what a fucking tune Supertramp - Goodbye Stranger is!!

Oh Goodbye Stranger!
You just brought me some sunshine. Perfect walk of shame song, but ace in general. I'm seriously considering chinese now. Something involving black bean sauce. I'm on my way to my 2nd consecutive night in. By god I'll do it!

Crispy shredded beef FTW.
I've been listening to some MJ tunes on headphones this afternoon. I haven't listened to most of this stuff for ten years or more. Some of it is incredible.

I'm still recovering
from being in Guatemala. I picked up giardia there, and still have the shits. I took Nitazoxanide for it, and found that I pissed fluorescent yellow-green for days after the treatment was done, among other things. I'm just now starting to feel a bit better- though I've found that the giardia has made me lactose intolerant for now.

In the words of Jack Nicholson: never trust a fart.

Supertramp FTW
I've been going through a bit of a Crisis What Crisis? phase. Absolutely awesome played at top volume in the car.

And *smugs a bit* I've been chatting with one of the band members lately and he's going to join me and my bro at one of our infamous jam sessions *has said too much but couldn't help it*

lol no way!?
I assume when you say "the" band you mean Supertramp!

I do indeed
Supertramp are one of my all time favourite bands ever and this guy in particular is a lifelong hero.* Imagine my glee when I discovered not only does he live nearby but I had actually spoken to him without realising. Next time I saw him I made a point of talking to him about the band and how much I love it, he was quite pleased and I felt like a starstruck little groupie. I blushed and stuttered and everything. I've spoken to him a few more times about music and stuff and he wants to come and see my bro and the guys doing what they do best. Hurrah!

* he inspired me to get a clarinet. Mrs Badcrumbles everywhere would shudder in their graves. I still can't actually play it but that's beside the point. He inspired me enough to get one.

That is a rather incredible story
I do have a slight worry in my head though that you're going to turn into the equivalent of Partridges biggest fan ;)

I'm trying not to let the fact
that I have certain...er... private information about him make me feel in any way powerful.

Nah, just happy to be trusted with it. Strange though, knowing that heroes are subject to the same earthly ordeals as the rest of us.

Wow!
I'm off to listen to Supertramp and to be happy for you and not be jealous at all... Need a spare singer? ;-)
