The problem is I have regular access to 12" rulers.
I have had to set myself a reminder in Outlook that says "LEAVE THE FUCKING RULER ALONE" to stop me flexing it and twanging it.

Aside from that my colleagues are clueless; someone mentioned tying someone to his chair the other day to stop him biting his nails and I managed to get out "I'm sure we have a spare CAT5 cable around here somewhere" before the self-preservation gland kicked in and went SHUT UP SHUT UP SHUT UP.
