Ahh but through dogshite, you can get fleas and flea eggs and other vectors. Not to mention a large amount of worms, but they're endoparasties and I haven't moved onto them yet

Ticks are awesome ectoparasites - for some reason, I think Ixodes sp are particularly wonderful - their special power of leaping many times their own body height when sensing CO2 is pretty cool!

Fleas are little fuckers though, and should be taken out with as much insecticide as is legal.
