A question for the geeks
I'm on a 5h flight next Friday, so I'm planning to watch some films on my laptop. The problems is that the battery life is very short (1.5h with good quality and high volume) so I want to buy an external portable battery or however it's called. I was thinking about this:

www.misco.co.uk/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=293979&sourceid=2009

as I think I would be able to use it for other devices, but to be honest, I don't even know if I can use it to charge the laptop... I'm crap with technology.

Anyone can help?

Thanks!

It probably won't
charge the laptop. We carry something similar and there's not enough power in it.

Let me talk to a couple of my contacts, I'll see if they have anything that will help.

Buying a couple of decent books would be cheaper.
Just saying.

Yes
I take my books too, but you can't be reading for 5h, so I watch a film, and films are usually longer than 1.5h

A lot of airlines have sockets to charge laptops on long-haul flights
I'm sure you've thought of that but, you know, just tryin' to help, is all

It's not considered
a long flight. It's going to Tenerife. It takes almost 5h, but as it's part of Europe and all that, the planes are your normal everyday planes, which is crap, because the seats are too small too.
