They'll no doubt......promise to tighten security, thus hiking the cost of an unnecessary ID Card from a ridiculous amount of money to an even more ridiculous amount of money, while at the same time making it extremely difficult for people NOT to have one.

Moreover, they'll sell off all the details on the national database to the highest bidder (this bit is actually provided for in the legislation).
