Bill Hicksmade some excellent points, but never actually made me laugh.
Kind of like a top-end Mark Thomas.
I am aware that this makes me a heretic and I should be burned, but I remember watching a routine of his and thinking 'great bloke...but not actually laugh-out-loud funny....'
