Why yes!I use the pointy bit as a toothpick. One always loses/breaks those fiddly wooden toothpicks in one's pockets. Cufflinks do not snap.

oh totally,its like using knitting needles as cotton buds to clean your ear wax - you feel the prick so much sooner thus preventing yourself from piercing your ear drum.
