Maybe they were trying to abbreviate "my un"Which, when said in a Cornish dialect, is near-perfect grammar.
"Excuse me my good fellow, is this coat yours?"
"Th'blue'n? Aaaar! S'my'n thaddiz!"
Or maybe not.
