oh godshe should have made up a 1:2 solution and left the pillock to it!
unless he meant a 1 in 2 solution? which would make a bit more sense. Still, a twat.
We had a lab tech who thought a 10 % solution meant 100g in 100 ml, so that took a LOT of explaining. But she was a total muppet, and used to get acids and alkalis confused too. (top tip I told her - if the bottle says ACID, it's probably not an alkali...)
