That 'momentarily' thing gets on my tits tooApparently it's standard American usage. When you're on final approach into a US airport, the script from the cabin crew goes something like, "Ladies and gentlemen, we will be landing momentarily. Please return to your seats, with your seat belts fastened, your seat backs in the upright position and your tray tables stowed away."
Landing momentarily? I'd prefer to be on the ground a bit longer, thank you.
