An eye patch would be easy enough to make, then all you need is a large gold earring from Argos ;)
I wish I'd known Catface was having a pirate theme when you were up - I made a rather dashing Johnny Depp style pirate outfit for Sweary Jr a while back - you could've pillaged bits from that. I gave him one of my old frilly Adam Ant phase shirts, made him a black bandana with beads attached, applied black kohl liberally, gave him one of my Granny's old gold clip on hoops, and my oldest studded goth belt. And we had Captain Japseye fish fingers all round for dinner that night :)
