I once wrote to a popular TV listings magazineTo complain about Miriam Stoppard after she told a scared 15 year old who had got pregnant and didn't know what to do to "stop being selfish!"
I've hated her ever since.
I got a generic reply saying blah blah opinions blah blah sorry blah blah meant no offence bollocks sorry your views don't match wide range of readers blah blah blah.
I never bought the magazine again. Now that was about 14 years ago so weekly I reckon they've lost about 500 quid from me.
