Dont get me wrongor anything and I have 2 cats that are lovely, but 3 grand on a cat? Its a cat. It has a tiny little brain and is stupid (they really are, I'm a cat person but I know cats are dafter than a daft thing) but I'd drown them in a wheelie bin before spending that much on it.
Oh and the hand? MTFU.
