I would like to say;
"Whilst I dont agree with what you say, I will defend your right to say it"

I would then turn to the audience members who are about to throw eggs at him, "Freedom of speech is for everyone, even racist idiots so please stop throwing things as it only makes him seem like the victim and Britain loves an underdog"

I will then sit back with a smug shit eating grin on my face as I get egged by people who dont see the irony in calling themselves "Anti-fascists/Nazis" yet seek to stifle debate.

That's a very good point you make
Obviously, we get into a disaster scenario if Griffin starts to get the sympathy vote because of the "anti-fascist" protesters.

And, if his last appearance on the Today Programme is anything to go by, if we just let him talk then he eventually shows himself up for the arse that he is -
"mumble mumble mumble politics, pc gone mad, mumble...and now you've got a black man playing Friar Tuck!"

Indeed
But lets face it, a black man playing Friar Tuck was fucking with the story a bit too much.

The whole series was shit anyway so I don't really care that much.

Yes, totally agree
let him speak so that he may show himself for what he is...an ignorant racist.

It wont happen though, some idiot will throw something or he will be shouted down and the endless cycle will continue.

I'm hoping people will let him just speak
without throwing objects / pantomime booing etc. I also hope he does show himself to be a racist idiot too but you've got to remember he's a politician. BNP supporters won't be watching Question Time, they'll be down the pub telling racist jokes - he'll try his damndest to present an acceptable, non-prejudiced version of the BNP to disaffected potential fringe supporters.
