I hope that their little pink sailboats were equipped with cannons and the training to use them. I mean seriously, who the fuck would think it's a good idea to send a sixteen year old off with Barbie pink sails and hull?

There was piece in Private Eye the other week (so it may be not true)
A russian cruise company is running cruises in the area and ultra rich Russkis can shoot at the pirates with heavy artilliary or just AK47s if they want. The ship sails up and down the coast tempting the pirates out, then they get blasted.

The idea being that killing pirates is not a crime. The crew is supplemented by security men.

I dont know whether this is fair or not...

On a different note, the fish stocks are recovering because the factory ships are too scared to operate in the area.
