I've spent so long thinking that I was the guilty party (too much to list) but now she's telling me that current husband fails to respond to her specific, egocentric needs in the same way that I allegedly failed.

If I can see a recurring trend I'll not put it down to coincidence.

Incidentally, this isn't an Edmund-esque rant. As above, we do get on quite well.

That's still not quite where I'm at.
I've not been wandering about in a slough of despond these last seven years.

Just carrying a nagging doubt that I ought not to have been carrying.

Perhaps having "Under an April Sky" - Jesus and Mary Chain - as our first dance at the reception ought to have predicated the future.
