patterns and stuff and grouping stuff is one thingand makes sense, it aids memory and stuff if you group things together, but I'm thinking of things like art, literature etc. There seems to be a common refusal to accept that someone could have done something just because.

It's not just an aid to memoryit's how peception works, it's fundamental to how we think. Anything that is unique is interpretted as a mixture of other things we've already seen.

it wasn't hardbut it is quite a bad culprit in this sort of thing.
the ridiculous thing is, I can't even remember what made me have a brain-rant about this, and it was only about an hour ago that it happened.
