Here's an un war memorial related scumbag story.
My friend Unity died in a car crash last year. A memorial bench was hand carved over the space of a year by a local artist at a cost of over £1000. It had placed for a few days when this happened news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/cornwall/8145273.stm
