The Nation that is personified in the eyes of Europe by the likes of Bush and the charming Sarah Palin.

They aren't your fault - and I love the US so much that I go there for three weeks every two years - but the collective intolerance that took root with the Pilgrims has taken a very deep root in some quarters.

intolerance is everywhere
I live in the south so I get to see a lot of it first hand
