the trouble isa 32" CRT is FUCKING MASSIVE. They stick out about 8ft at the back.
I'm not all that likely to be watching much in the way of HD stuff, I don't own, or intend to own a blu-ray player or an XBox 360 or PS3, but if I want a decent sized tv, I'd rather have a flat one

True,you can always hook up your computer to the telly though, and watch HD content like that. Bloody lovely, and effectively free. Nudge nudge.
