Here in Londonit apparently perfectly acceptable, nay, encouraged, for motorcyclists confronted with a lengthy queue at lights, simply to drive on the other side of the road, like a fucking Frenchman - I was reprimanded by one for not checking for people performing this manoeuvre, as I crossed the road, once.
Silly me!
