A lot of people (including me)just add names they recognise to their FB accounts.
I recently added the ex husband as he's actually turning into a good friend (despite his rants on here last year) and thus added half of our old mutual friends who were his friends to begin with, but he's also done the same thing and added a bunch of my friends who he remembers.
Wish I could give you some advice, but the above is all I can say. Meanwhile, I have a six pack of Bud..........
