2005 at the age of 25Been driving about 4 years now.
I can't stand automatics, they remove most of the manual control you have over the car's speed. Engine braking alone is an awesome safety feature, particularly in the snow/ice.

You should still be able to shift down on an auto box to get some brakingI could on my Carlton.
