That's really, really sensible
Many intravenous drug users are more than a little dim and getting 'best practice' advice from other junkies is probably not so clever. People may find it distasteful but it's a damn sight better than pretending it's not happening. It's like needle exchanges - some cretins thought/think they encourage needle use which is fucking laughable. The only argument against them is a Darwinist approach: without them, more intravenous drug uses will die which saves society a few quid.

Bit mean-spirited, perhaps, but hey, there's a recession on...
