my home number is almost identical to that of the local BMW bodyshop, transpose 2 numbers.
the way the weather has been lately has resulted in a fair few BMW drivers pranging their lovely metal boxes.
this week i have had 12 wrong numbers, 4 or 5 of them from the same daft woman. she got rather arsey with me when i told her (the last time she called) that no, this still wasn't the right number. as she had already phoned me a number of times (within about 10 minutes) i was getting a bit fed up with her and this was evident in my voice. she actually told me that it took very little effort to be nice, so i told her that i imagined it also took very little effort to dial the right number.
she hasn't called back...
