My father introduced my brother and me to Vizwhen it was still practically a student mag - he went to a dinner party hosted by a colleague whose previous job was at Newcastle University so we were in on the ground floor.
My father could not believe the likes of Buster Gonad et al and actually woke us from our beds in the middle of the night to show us, bless him.
