I lost touch with a friend, a really lovely amazing girl.
I moved house while she was away and I didn't have a mobile in those days. I lost her number in the move. Her mum 'wasn't well' and I think she was moving house around the same time too so I didn't even bother trying to find that landline number.
Years went by and she just didn't seem to pop up on Myspace or Faceache like other eejits I'd gone to uni with. She'd had a pretty shit life up to that point and I just wanted to know she was ok.

Last year I got an invite on Facebook. She'd moved back to London, where she's from, met a lovely bloke, had a little girl and there was one on the way. We're still useless at keeping touch, but just to know that she's ok, she's happy where she is and she's happy with what she's got, and she's making two kids happy by being their mum. That's ace.
