HOLY SHIT!
I was sitting here at my computer in the front room when I heard the most godawful screaming from my cockateil in the next room, accompanied by frantic flapping and cage-rattling.

I ran in just in time to see a red tail hawk sitting on the porch railing, eyeing Tiffany as though she were a cocktail shrimp.

No wonder poor Tiffany was freaked!

I then spent about ten minutes with her on my shoulder, reassuring her that no one was going to eat her. I even kicked away a cat in the process.

Actually, I do snuggle with her.
Strange as it may sound, small birds do sometimes like to be snuggled, especially while watching TV. I'm the only person she'll allow to do so, but she does love to sit with me while I watch movies.

Poor little thing was severely frightened.

Awwwwwww!!!
A couple nights ago, I had my blinds open. Bomber was by the patio door looking out, and freaking out. I'm sat on the couch going WTF?, looked over, saw Bomber's reflection in the window. Went over to let her know that it was ok and to pet her, and realized the "reflection" was actually a huge ass possum on my patio.

The funniest thing
was when the Big Black Fluffeh Thing got dive bombed by a blue jay. She sprang two feet into the air, then ran like hell for the house. I had to go out and rescue her.

She couldn't look me in the eye for days.
