I saw Tortoise last November at The GarageThey were so utterly terrible I left after three tunes with my very embarrassed 'Tortoise are amaaazing live' friend in tow. Really, they were fucking awful.
Boris, however, put on one of the most awe-inspiring gigs I have ever seen when i saw them at Cargo, also last year. They were completely and utterly brilliant.

Boris and Sunn O)))Very heavy shit. I like Tortoise- interesting that they mainly come froma hardcore background and sound the way they do.
