It does strike me as a little arse-about-facethat when our kids are hyperactive and neurotic and we can't control them, we pump them full of drugs to calm them down, but when our dogs do the same, we have them put to sleep.
Given the racket next door's kid was making the other night I'd happily reverse the situation.
