I find Heinlein awfulpartly because the first one I read was one I'd been given by friends of my parents, even though they had spilt tomato chutney on it, but partly because the ones I've read have been awfully twee.

Agreed.Fallen Dragon is a bit better than that though. Give it a go when you're in the mood for something undemanding.
