Obligatory Man The Fuck Up (MTFU).
But this is the Achilles heel of the internet "dating". I guess what people are after is all the hope of meeting someone incredible/HOT without the (real) fear of rejection or the nerves that comes with chatting to people in real life.
I suspect you may be a little hooked on this hussy, hence the call to the venue and also the moaning here. Did she send you gorgeous pictures of her? Chances are they were fake, almost in a way like that Facebook stalker/murderer/peado off'telly. I wonder if an insecure person tried to get in about you by using a fake persona, or alternatively they were genuinely pulling the piss from the off.
Either way just highlights why you should be out in the real world, out with your mates or joining new clubs etc. I wouldn't trust many people off the net, even from here!. That Noel above I hear has a bit of hammer-murder about him, so just watch yourself. Seemingly safe and trustworthy places can be full of sick, sick individuals.

she wasn't that good looking. Pretty average. I was merely enjoying getting to know someone new but it is slightly annoying/disappointing to invest effort into a fruitless endeavour.
I'm not actually a social retard. I was just at the stage where I was in a routine and so not meeting many new people and so I was finding life a little boring.
And that is why I called up the venue; I wanted to see if she had planned this lie from the beginning, which does seems to be the case.
Thankees for the reply. Again, appreciated.

Well, apologies for taking massive leaps of guess. Make sure you get enough tea in you now though.
