True this.A professional gang of bicycle theives we nicking loads of newish bikes in Cambridge. A city with millions of the damn things. Apparantly they were chopping off the locks with huge bolt croppers and loading them into the back of a van. One night I picked up a copy of the Cambridge Evening news to find the headline, "Over 30 Cycles Stolen From City Centre". Fine. Nothing wrong with that. Then the sub title... "Police believe it to be the work of cycle theives". No shit Sherlock.
