Speaking of punctuation,isn't there some wanky indie band called '!!!!' or something like that? You're right, punctuation does not equal creativity, just a lack of any decent ideas and/or a level of pretentiousness that even The Moody Blues can only dream of.
Oh, and speaking of pretentious: And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of Dead. Did that lot ever achieve anything of note besides a fucking ridiculous name?
