I don't blame him for resisting the Led Zep reunion, much as I'm gutted from a personal point of view. If I was hitting the top ten with my current music I would be less inclined to hit the road with my old band from 40 years ago...

his current stuff, the Alison Krauss stuff and the Strange Sensation, is new and fresh and really very good.
I strongly suspect I will never see a gig as good as that. His presence and his voice were just incredible.

are as good now as when I first saw them many, many years ago.
Disappointingly, Hawkwind have been terrible since the early 90s.

I'm really not fond of his girly, high-pitched shrieking on Led Zep records. Now that he's dropped an octave or two I think he's got a much better tone.
EDIT: And I'd agree with Monty re Hawkwind. Mind you, I thought they started losing it circa PXR5 when they let Bob Calvert read his poetry over the music.
