As porky says, it's "out of," e.g, "I take the piss out of David Cameron's insufferably smug and punchable boat-race."
I shouldn't take the piss, really; your English is far better than my command of any foreign language I've tried to learn.

At least I understood you were taking the piss OUT OF me. Most of the time I don't get the jokes, translate literally and give quite stupid replies :) (And the image of you pissing ON Cameron was quite funny)
As I said for my first B3ta birthday, this website has truly improved my understanding of the English language.

you might want to remove that erroneous apostrophe in the post title)
I can see what you mean, though - you don't really learn a language until you try having conversations and start picking up the colloquialisms and other strange idioms. Plus we have a myriad of grammar pedants on here who will happily/angrily correct your mistakes. Plus you get to learn a unique subset of the language which is rarely used outside of these boards...

But that's the tittle in the news, that's why I kept it. I'm very picky with apostrophes.
I'm very glad when I get corrections. Not so much when I see everybody is joking about something I write and I can't understand. But then, my boyfriend usually translates for me in those cases.

Improved while coming on B3ta? Bit of a strangeness that.

Words like fucksocks and twunt are rarely used elsewhere. Plus all of the spelling and grammar pedants (and I include myself in this) get wound up by misplaced apostrophes and the misuse of loose, their and your, etc.

I tried to read Scanner Darkly before b3ta and I didn't get 2 words out of 3. After 1 year in B3ta I tried again and found it very funny.
