Ah, Jamie Oliver
I really, really wish he hadn't actually tried to do so much good with his fame and profile, because I find him intensely annoying and would love to hate him unreservedly. But he had to go and make a difference to the lives of the underpriveliged in a way which would have been impossible were he just an irritating monkey-faced twat, instead of a famous irritating monkey-faced twat, so I have to grudgingly admit that he's obviously a decent bloke, despite annoying the piss out of me.

Celebrities. Why can't they ALL be one-dimensional and easy to hate?

He's one of people I can think of
who absolutely 100% deserves a knighthood, and I hate his fucking guts. It's most confusing.

and annoyingly, I agree with you. But I can't bear the idea of calling him "Sir Jamie" for the next 40 years, so let's wait until he's 70-odd and give it him then, a few years before we check out. Because we decide these things, obviously
