RightI happen to have a Dell 745 on my desk right now. The RAM is DDR2 240 pin DIMMS I use PC6400 in my 745. The Ram for the Gigabyte board is also 240 pin DDR2 so will fit.
I found most of this information buy googling "Optiplex 745 RAM" and "Gigabyte GA-945PL-S3 RAM"
