Haven't seen "The quiet earth"

Guy wakes up after trying to kill himselft to find that
the world is empty and there's nobody left. A bunch of survivors get together and it turns out they were all on the verge of death when the "event" happened.

So worth hunting out?
I read "the road" whilst on hols lately and thoroughly enjoyed the desolate earth scenario.
But not in a morbid way, more of a survivalist thing. Probs why I fancy Jason bourne so much...
