It was mainly through lack of routine and poor sleeping pattern. Though up to 14 hours a day of uninterrupted sleep was not natural.

any idea of what causes yours? I know what mine is, it's the same, repeated thought bouncing around in my head, driving mental. I'm unable to turn it off in any way, it just haunts me

no particular thoughts, but my mind jumps from one thing to another really fast.
makes me more aware of light and sound as well.

I think too much, and I hate just lying there so I get up and do things. It used to help with creative writing a hell of a lot though
