I'm thinking a more 'fireside recollections' kind of 'vibe'.
Soft focus avuncular reminiscences about 'that time 'Bod ' went to the poll tax riots and purloined a policeman's helmet, only to trade it for a can of 'Special Brew'* on the way back to Winchester', that kind of stuff.

*my father used to deliberately get names of things wrong to disparage them and it was hugely effective. 'You and your 'specialist beers'', he once said to my brother.
