Video recorderMy sadly deceased grandparents (mothers side) were very impressed with the old VCR we passed onto them, but once, when we went round for tea, they were sitting quietly in the kitchen rather than the 'front room'. On asking why they said they were taping 'Highway' and didn't want their voices to come on the tape .....
