This is a question Ouch!

A friend was once given a biopsy by a sleep-deprived junior doctor.
They needed a sample of his colon, so inserted the long bendy jaws-on-the-end thingy, located the suspect area and... he shot through the ceiling. Doctor had forgotten to administer any anaesthetic.

What was your ouchiest moment?

If that's the worst pain you've ever had
you've done well. I thought I may have some contribution to add to this QOTW, having suffered a few ouchy things (including many insect stings/bites on various body parts) but, they seem pretty insignificant, after reading many of these other posts (not yours). BTW, slashing your finger/thumb with a stanley knife is relatively painless (yes I've done it).

Ever had your shin broken?
Very, very painful, yet still less so than that wasp sting on the back of my head.

Honest.

Nope....not shins
I assume you mean tibia, fibula or both. I done metacarpals ( hand )nose (several times) & ribs (several times), these hurt, but are more irritating than painful. I had a bull ant bite on my fingertip once, that hurt like fuck, but was shortlived fortunately, I had a kidney stone that completely blocked off one kidney for about a week, that hurt like fuck too, but I had drugs for that. I guess pain is a difficult thing to quantify, as the effect varies person to person so dramatically. The one thing that just kills me is headaches, but to others, they're just an annoyance, but on the other side of the coin, I'll happily go and ride a horse or dirtbike with busted ribs, yeah it hurts, but the fun makes it worth it.
