This is a question Ouch!

A friend was once given a biopsy by a sleep-deprived junior doctor.
They needed a sample of his colon, so inserted the long bendy jaws-on-the-end thingy, located the suspect area and... he shot through the ceiling. Doctor had forgotten to administer any anaesthetic.

What was your ouchiest moment?

Another Agony
Was in Florida around 10 years ago. Being a young idiot, I decided it would be clever to stay in the pool all day without putting sun cream on. Being of Irish descent, I am as pale as hell and don't tan well. The result, swollen red arms and massive blisters all along my arms, as wide as my arm and as deep as a pen. Absolutely agonising - I couldn't do anything for a week and when I got back to England the doctor said I can't get burnt again otherwise I could get skin cancer. After the blisters and swelling had gone down, I had an unusually impressive tan which I have not got since (I am back to near-albinism now).

Pale and don't tan easy
er.. If you put cream on you'll tan, if you don't you'll burn. It beggers belief how many people don't know this.

Nope
You would think but no. Returned from a two week holiday in the caribbean a month ago as white as I was when I left.

Yes
I am half Irish. Despite multiple applications of cream, I still burn sometimes (though not as bad as you, poor thing!). Stupid Irish descent!

It makes
you wonder how the Irish ever coped with migrating to the US, no sun tan cream in those days.

By wearing clothes and hats.
Didn't go in much for lazing about on the beach tanning, that lot.
