Ouch!
A friend was once given a biopsy by a sleep-deprived junior doctor.
They needed a sample of his colon, so inserted the long bendy jaws-on-the-end thingy, located the suspect area and... he shot through the ceiling. Doctor had forgotten to administer any anaesthetic.
What was your ouchiest moment?

Easy enough to resolve.
Redefine what you consider to be beautiful shoes.
Pointy-toed things with tiny spike heels that require you to put your full weight on the balls of your feet will always hurt no matter what. Shoes with some support and a more rounded toe with larger diameter heels so that you can actually put weight on your heels will be more comfortable, and I've seen some like that that were very nice looking with open toes.
But what do I know? I have a Y chromosome.

More than me apparently.
I tend to ignore high heels. Especially since my other half is already nearly a head taller than me even without those ungodly things.
